All the Stirrup Leathers are made in England from the Best English Leather and are hand stitched.  It is important with stirrup leathers that they are made with the flesh side of the leather on the outside, this is so that the strongest  side of the leather, the top side, takes the wear from the stirrup bars, stirrup irons and the buckles. Leather will naturally stretch, if it didn't it might snap, to this end it is important to switch the stirrup leathers from side to side of the saddle so that they stretch evenly when mounting.
