Care instructions for leather: Prior to the first use the mouthpiece should be soaked thoroughly in cooking oil. Please repeat since the leather seems dry. Prior to every use the mouthpieces should be soaked briefly in cold water and rinsed after use because saliva can erode the leather quickly.
