TONGUE PORT BAR
The tongue port bar has a special, flattened port shape. This means the tongue receives an optimum amount of room. Many horses react to this with improved suppleness and increased chewing. The bit is also eminently suitable however for horses that play with their tongues, which attempt to put their tongue over the bit as the port effectively prevents this. This bit is thus extremely suitable for horses that are intolerant of conventionally shaped bits due to the pressure on the tongue and react with head tossing or similar.
