Tarka Abraham

Tarka is a young event rider. She prides herself on producing and training event horses from a young age. The 2020 season was short but sweet for her: highlights included several National top 2 placings and a top 15 placing in the 2*L at Bicton Arena International. 2020 was a challenging year for many, which made her team feel especially lucky to finish their season in Portugal at the Barocca Winter Eventing Tour. They had a very exciting and successful trip with three of her self-produced horses making their international Debut: Kiwi (Gundula’s Gold), Papaya (Jarisa) and Squash (Vamoose); they returned with 6 top ten placings, including a win and an International 3rd and 4th!

Mimi van Ufford

Mimi van Ufford is a 14yr old event rider based on the Herefordshire / Worcestershire border. Whilst her main love is eventing, she does also compete in pure dressage and show jumping, both through Pony Club and NSEA. She is our junior sponsored rider for the 2026 season.
She rides for The Chase School in Malvern and was part of the winning team at the NSEA National Championships (dressage) held at Hickstead in 2025. She also became Individual National Champion on her 21yr old Chestnut gelding Mr Socks, a horse that previously belonged to her mother but who only started eventing very late on in his career. In 2024 she was also Pony Club Dressage Champion on her old pony Strattonstown Jackson.
This season she affiliated BE and managed to secure a number of good results at BE90 level including two 2nd places and a 3rd. She also rode in her first long format competition at Bicton, coming 13th in the BE90 3Day. She competed in 4 Regional Championships, always placed in the top 10. Unfortunately her best result of 6th only just meant she didn't manage to qualify for the Badminton Grassroots Championship but this is definitely something she would like to try and achieve next season instead.
Mimi is very much looking forward to the 2026 season, hoping to move up a level eventing on Mr Socks as well as looking for her next potential ride.
